Safflower oil is potent as a defence against free radicals which attack collagen & prematurely age your skin. It can also help reduce skin inflammation & plays a significant role in wound healing. Jojoba oil is superb for helping reduce acne, balance oil production & won’t strip your skin of its natural oils. It is a non-toxic alternative to harsh make-up removers & cleansers. I’ve used a small percentage of Castor oil in my formulation as it can help eyebrows & eyelashes grow thicker, stay healthy and conditioned. It is also a natural astringent that readily pulls away oils & impurities.

Jojoba oil provides a protective barrier to keep your skin from losing moisture. It can help prevent bacterial infections, acne etc. from forming, as jojoba contains antimicrobial & antifungal properties & with its natural forms of vitamin E it works with your skin as a powerful antioxidant. Although jojoba is a botanical substance it’s make up is so similar to our own oil (sebum) that our bodies naturally produce that our skin can’t tell the difference, so we don’t over produce excess oil. It is non comedogenic, meaning it doesn't clog your pores, therefore leading to a cleaner complexion. It is typically hypoallergenic & non-irritating which is why it is a suitable oil for any type of skin. Your collagen levels decrease with age so the antioxidants in jojoba help your body produce collagen & encourage your skin cells to bind together to aid wound healing, treating acne & reduce scarring. Jojoba oil has anti-inflammatory & healing properties & can be beneficial with treating psoriasis & eczema.
